Falmouth Police Accused Driver of Crashing into House While Texting

Driver injured, home occupant not hurt, pickup destroyed...

Texting Driver Hits House

At 1:11 am this morning officers were dispatched to the intersection of Woods Hole Rd and Glendon Rd for the report of a crash, where a pickup had struck a house.

The homeowner and sole occupant was not injured.

The operator sustained a minor injury and refused further care at the scene. A heavy-duty tow truck was used to remove the car.

The Building Inspector was contacted and asked to perform a more detailed examination of the house.

The 26-year-old operator from East Falmouth will be summonsed to court for Operating a Motor Vehicle to Endanger, Marked Lanes Violation, and Texting while Driving
