Car Strikes Tree in Truro

79 year old driver transported to hospital...
A 79 year old Truro woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries when her Subaru struck a tree in town today. (TPD photo)

From the Truro Police Department:

On Monday April 1, 2019 at approximately 6:05pm, the Truro Police Department received a report of a one car motor vehicle accident at Route 6 and Great Hollow Rd. Truro Police and Fire were dispatched.

Upon arrival, it was learned that a gray Subaru Crosstrex had gone off the roadway and collided with a tree in the area of 5 Great Hollow Rd.

The driver of the Subaru, a 79 year old female and Truro resident, was transported to Cape Cod hospital with non life threatening injuries. There were no passengers in the vehicle.

The crash is under investigation by the Truro Police Department.
