Dennis Police Department Welcomes Newest Officer

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019 the Dennis Police Department welcomed our newest Patrol Officer, Evan Tuohy-Bedford, who was sworn in by Dennis Town Clerk, Terry Bunce.

Evan comes to the Dennis Police Department after having served in the United States Marine Corps and then attending and graduating from the Massachusetts State Police Municipal Academy in 2018 as a self-sponsor.

Evan fills an open position which was created by an officer taking a position with a federal law enforcement agency earlier this year.

Officer Tuohy-Bedford will now begin 12 weeks of Field Training.
