Located at 33 Old Main St, South Yarmouth, PETiculars offers doggy daycare in their newly renovated space which opened on April 1st. But, this is no April Fool's joke. Dogs can come and play all day or for just a few hours. PETiculars also offers pet sitting, pet supply sales, nail trimming, dog walking, massage and more.
PETiculars is the passion project of Linda Rogers and Diane Tolle. After 35 years in the veterinary field, Linda decided she needed something of her own in the pet industry. She approached Diane with an idea in the fall of last year. Diane is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and was working at a local veterinary hospital at the time. She also had a part time pet sitting service based in Centerville. They decided to pursue that idea and found sucess in PETiculars, a service and retail store for Picky Pets and Their People.
Both Diane and Linda now devote all of their time to the business. Once the Daycare Center was ready to open, they brought Danielle Hurd onto the team. She is a native Cape Codder and Veterinary Technician who also wanted a change in the pet industry. Between the 3 of them, they have almost 60 years of professional pet experience. They hope to bring their combined knowledge of animal care, health and behavior to the pet owners living on or visiting the Cape. According to Linda, "Our goal is to be a complete resource for pets and their owners while on the Cape or off. We want to take the worry away from owners and ensure that pets are happy if they have to be away from their family for whatever reason."
PETiculars is open all year so stop in and introduce yourself. The staff is happy to answer questions and give tours of the facility anytime. For more detailed information, go to their website, peticularpet.com. You can even get their personal cell phone numbers if you need to contact someone in "peticular".
