Falmouth Firefighters Knock Down House Fire Wednesday Afternoon

From the Falmouth Fire/Rescue Department...

Shortly after 5 tonight, E22, E21, E24 and L26 were dispatched to Sippiwissett Rd for a building fire.

First arriving crews found smoke showing from the attic of a large 2 story home.

An aggressive interior attack was mounted, and interior crews encountered heavy fire in the attic.

Utilizing 2 attack lines, the fire was knocked down in about 20 mins. There were no injuries, and the fire is not suspicious.

Thanks to the Mashpee, JBCC and Cotuit Fire Departments for providing station coverage and responding to calls in Falmouth during this incident.
