Waldorf School Intro's New Chinese Language & Culture After School Program

Starts April 23rd...

Beginning on April 23rd, the Waldorf School of Cape Cod is offering a new exciting after school program that immerses students in Chinese language and culture. The class will be taught by Barnstable High School Chinese teacher, Bo Wu, and will run for 6 weeks.

This program immerses students in Chinese language and culture in a fun and interactive way.  Children will learn through games, skits, and friendly conversations guided by the teacher.

Back in January, Waldorf School officials attended a Barnstable County School Committee meeting and heard many of Ms. Wu’s students speak highly of her as a teacher. The Waldorf School’s Director, Roxanne King, was so impressed that she reached out to Ms. Wu and asked
to meet with her. “We heard dozens of high school students stand up at a school committee meeting and speak so eloquently about their teacher and that made a huge impression on us.” she said. “I knew Ms. Wu must be a passionate educator who creates meaningful connections
with her students and that is exactly the kind of person we want teaching at our school,” Ms.King added.

After School Programs at the Waldorf School are open to all students on Cape Cod in grades 1 - 8. Programming changes every six weeks with new offerings and old favorites. Visit the school’s website here to enroll in Ms. Wu’s program
