Utility Pole Topples on Car in Eastham, Trapping Driver

Eastham Fire Department personnel had an active Monday morning after a utility pole, complete with wires and transformer, collapsed onto an occupied vehicle, trapping the driver.

Salt Works Road was closed for several hours while crews rescued the driver and utility crews replaced the pole.

Eastham Fire sends its compliments to Eversource and Verizon for their fast work.
