A Patriotic Tribute in Orleans

From the Orleans Police Department:

391 flags were placed on the lawn at the War Memorial today, with the assistance of the Nauset Regional Middle School grade 6.

The flags represent the 391 Orleans residents that have served in every conflict.

  • War of 1812
  • Civil War
  • World War I 
  • World War II 
  • Korea
  • Viet Nam
  • Gulf War
  • Afghanistan and Iraq - Wars on Terror. 

This display will remain in place until sunset on Memorial Day.
