From the US Coast Guard Northeast:

Last week, Coast Guard Cutter Campbell was notified of a sailboat in distress 280 miles off the coast of Nantucket due to a rudder casualty.

After a 14-hour transit to the last known location, the crew arrived on scene. They assessed the weather and casualty, then began towing S/V Reflection more than 360 miles safely back towards land!

Thanks to good preparation, the Master was in good health and had sufficient food, water, and lifesaving equipment remaining onboard.
