Cotuit Woman Graduates from Hamilton College

Another local graduate makes us proud...

CLINTON, NY - Julia Reynolds, of Cotuit (02635), received a bachelor of arts degree from Hamilton College on Sunday, May 26, at the Commencement ceremony concluding the college's 207th year.

Freeman Hrabowski, president of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, delivered the Commencement address.

A literature major at Hamilton, Reynolds graduated with departmental honors in literature and now joins an alumni body of more than 23,000, many of whom have made important contributions to business, the professions, government and the arts.

Originally founded in 1793 as the Hamilton-Oneida Academy, Hamilton College offers an open curriculum that gives students the freedom to shape their own liberal arts education within a research- and writing-intensive framework.
