From West Barnstable Fire Department:

Response to the College:

Yesterday afternoon, the WBFD and Barnstable FD jointly responded to the Gym at the CCCC.

Initially the call was for an automatic fire alarm (AFA), but then callers reported smoke in the hallway so the incident was upgraded to a building fire.

It turned out to a mischievous discharge of a dry chemical fire extinguisher.

Seven trucks with 19 firefighters responded.
