Two Buildings Struck by Cars in One Day

A bank and a post office...

Two vehicles struck buildings today on Cape Cod.  Neither driver nor pedestrians required transport to a hospital.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. a vehicle struck the Eastern Bank branch on Old Post Road in Marstons Mills.

A bit after 5 p.m. a Cadillac struck the Cotuit Post Office building and penetrated the interior of the building, causing extensive damage.

Building inspectors were called to evaluate both structures.

Barnstable Police are investigating both crashes.
