Active Incident 11:45am July 7, 2019:

WarehamDNR has located an overturned kayak Southwest of Long Beach in the Wareham River drifting near Stone Estate in Marion. Wareham Marine Units 1. & 2 as well as Marion Harbormaster are out at the scene coordinating efforts to confirm no one is in distress.

This is yet again another kayak with no identification attached making locating an owner almost impossible. If you recognize this kayak from the Wareham area or adjacent communities please contact WarehamDNR 508-295-8160 or the Wareham Police Department at 508-295-1212.
