Update from Brewster Police on Hit and Run Victim

UPDATED INFORMATION ON MILLSTONE HIT-AND-RUN:

BREWSTER, MA – The Brewster Police Department continues to investigate a hit-and-run crash that occurred around 9:30 pm last night (July 9th) on Millstone Road. The vehicle involved struck a cyclist, who has been identified as Connor Long, age 32, from Brewster. Mr. Long was treated at the scene by Brewster Fire/Rescue and was transported to Barnstable Municipal Airport where he was flown via MedFlight helicopter to a Boston Hospital. He is currently in serious, but stable condition.

The Brewster Police Department is being assisted by the Barnstable County Sheriffs Office BCI Unit and the Cape Cod Regional Crash Reconstruction Team with the investigation. At this point, we are looking to speak with the operator of a light colored sedan hatchback, possibly with a roof rack. The vehicle was seen leaving the area around the time of the crash and may have information that would assist investigators. The involved vehicle would likely have front passenger side damage.
