It's Bear Week in Provincetown - 19th Annual Celebration

Nine days and nights of special events...

From the Provincetown Police Department:

Today is the first day of Bear Week Provincetown 2019

Now celebrating its 19th Anniversary!

The mission of Provincetown Bears is to plan events for the annual summer gathering of Bears in Provincetown, and they endeavor to welcome all people to Bear Week.

They host diverse bear parties in a small summer resort town that offers a variety of restaurants, art galleries, nationally known LGBT entertainers, nightclubs and unspoiled beaches, dunes and forest trails at the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Provincetown is one of North America's most famous gay resorts, dating back over a century as a summer gathering place for artists, actors and writers, and for centuries as an 'end-of-the-world' location attracting adventurers, pirates, recluses and extraverts. The local community appreciates the annual influx of eccentric and flamboyant visitors each summer.

Bear Week is a unique vacation experience.

Provincetown Bears hosts 9 days and nights of pool parties, beach outings, dance parties and other events.
