Dennis Student Graduates from Simon's Rock

Another local graduate makes us proud...

GREAT BARRINGTON, MA - Coco Raymond of Dennisport, MA, recently graduated summa cum laude from Bard College at Simon's Rock with a Bachelor of Artsin Studio Arts: Ceramics and Archival and Museum Studies.

Raymond was one of 166 students to graduate from the oldest and most pretigious early college in the nation on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Sixty-six undergraduates received their B.A. degrees and 100 students received their A.A. degrees.

Award-winning author and Harvard Professor Jamaica Kincaid spoke at Commencement on the practice of kindness and overcoming the borders that separate us. "We all come from somewhere else.
