Harwich Police Update on Tanker Rollover

Road closed for "foreseeable future", power remains off as a precaution...

From the Harwich Police Department (verbatim):

Sisson Road will be closed between RT 28 and Gilbert for the foreseeable future while crews work to pump the gas off of the tanker before it is removed.

As a precaution, Eversource has shut power off in the immediate area as a precaution while the crews pump out the gas.

The driver was able to safely remove himself from the truck but was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
