Hyannis West Elementary Selected as Star Market Program Beneficiary

"Give Back Where It Counts" reusable bag program...

Hyannis West Elementary has been selected as a beneficiary of the Star Market GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Program for the month of August.

The Star Market GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Program, which launched in April 2019, is a $2.50 reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. The program has given a total of $26,770 to 601 non-profits since its launch.

Hyannis West Elementary was selected as the August beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Star Market located at 625 W. Main St. Hyannis.

Hyannis West will receive a $1 donation every time a reusable GIVE BACK WHERE IT COUNTS Bag is purchased at this location during August.

Every $1 donation will go directly to the Hyannis West PTO to enhance the educational experience for all children by funding field trips and other school-wide enrichment opportunities.
