From Wellfleet Police:

Power appears to have been restored in Wellfleet.

Wellfleet PD joined our public safety team from across the cape to brief Lt. Governor Polito and other Representatives at the Cape’s Muti Agency Coordination Center (MACC). At that time different agencies briefed her on what has happened and what is being done.

Wellfleet suffered minimal effect from today’s tornado when compared to othe cape towns. Eversource continues to work on the substation that was hit by lightning. At this time we don’t know when power will be restored.

DY High School has opened as a shelter if anyone is in need of sheltering. People are free to drive to the shelter or contact the police if you need transportation.
