Art Adventures: “Live Painting” with Timothy Cole Ellis

Stop by our hands-on Maker Station for some art-inspired fun! Artist Timothy Ellis Cole will guide visitors of all ages in creating a community mural using the same kinds of materials and techniques he employs in his artworks. This drop-in program is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect with their child – or for adults to connect with their “inner-child” – through sensory exploration and art-based play. Free with museum admission. No advance registration required.

Timothy Ellis Cole creates murals, paintings and illustrations that evoke the environment's impact on our aesthetic sensibilities and experience. The forms, colors, and materials in his work reflect his personal journey—from his childhood love of skate culture to his current life as a dad and artist living on Cape Cod. Recent exhibitions include the Cultural Center of Cape Cod (South Yarmouth, MA), Seaport Art Walk (New Bedford, MA), and the Jonathan Bourne Historical Center (Bourne, MA). He lives and works in Monument Beach, Massachusetts.
