Nauset Beach Closed to Swimming Due to Shark

From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., assuming no further sightings...

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's Sharktivity app reports that Nauset Beach was closed to swimming at 10 a.m. Sunday after a white shark was sighted 15 yards off shore in front of the northern lifeguard stand.

The beach is closed to swimming until 11 a.m., assuming there are no further sightings during the closure.
