A team of junior golfers ages 13 and under from Barnstable County will compete at a PGA Jr. League Regional presented by National Car Rental hosted by Cranberry Valley Golf Course in Harwich Sept. 14-15, with photo, video and interview opportunities onsite with junior golf teams in their numbered jerseys, their families and their Captains.

PGA Jr. League is a game-changing opportunity for boys and girls to learn and play golf. The program brings family and friends together around fun, team golf experiences with expert coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals. This year, 60,000 boys and girls have participated in PGA Jr. League and that number continues to grow into the Fall Recreational Season.

At the Regional, four All-Star teams of junior golfers ages 13 and under will compete for the opportunity to advance to the PGA Jr. League Championship presented by National Car Rental at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, Oct. 11-14.

In addition to the Barnstable Town League All-Stars, competing teams include the Western League All-Stars from Harwinton, Connecticut; the Patriot 128 All-Stars from Canton, Massachusetts; and the AndersMattsonGolf 1 All-Stars from Saratoga Springs, New York.

Attached is a media advisory with more information and a schedule of events, along with a photo of the All-Star team. Below is the local team’s roster that includes player ages, hometowns, and the facilities they played with during the Spring/Summer Season. If you’re interested in attending or would like results and photos following the competition, please let me know.
