Wareham Police Arrests from 9/5/19 to 9/13/19

Recent arrests by the Wareham Police Department:

Thursday, September 5:

5:15 a.m. – Wareham Police Detectives arrested a male in Boston as part of a confidential investigation.

6:55 a.m. – Noah C. Bastarache, 36, of Wareham, was arrested by detectives at his residence on an active warrant.

Friday, September 6:

6:10 a.m. – Rae Pires, 37, of Tulsa, Oklahoma was arrested by Sergeant Daniel Henderson and Officer Peter Silvia after a motor vehicle stop on Depot Street, for two active warrants.

5:44 p.m. – Joshua Jacobs, 37, of Middleborough, was arrested by Officers Nate Aronson and Chris Corner at Walmart for shoplifting.

Saturday, September 7:

9:30 p.m. – Richard Nelson Jr.,30, of West Wareham, was arrested by Officers Charles Pillsbury and James White for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. Mr. Nelson was placed into custody following a disturbance to the rear of The Fan Club on Cranberry Highway.

Sunday, September 8:

10:00 p.m. – Shamia Monroe, 43, of Brockton, was arrested by Detective Dean Decas on Cranberry Highway near Depot Street. She is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Monday, September 9:

10:45 a.m. – Jennifer Bradley, 45, of East Wareham, was arrested by Officers Charles Pillsbury and John Iacobucci for disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace. The arrest was made at Tobey Hospital following a disturbance.

Tuesday, September 10

5:30 p.m. – Brodie Ring, 33, of Wareham, was arrested by Officers Lorenzo Grosso and Charles Pillsbury following a disturbance on Main Street. During the fracas Mr. Ring clenched his fists, violently resisting officers’ efforts to place him under arrest. As a result of his combativeness officers deployed a Taser to subdue him. He is charged with disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.

Thursday, September 12:

3:05 a.m. – Alberto Velasquez, 30, of Onset, was arrested by Officer Matthew Donovan on an active warrant. Officer Donovan observed him walking on Division Avenue and placed him in custody.

4:43 p.m. – James Pion, 62, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was arrested by Officer Joseph Cardoza for operating under the influence of liquor and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The arrest was made following a motor vehicle stop on Cranberry Highway in West Wareham.

7:22 p.m. – Richard Fraser, 48, of East Falmouth, was arrested after a Wareham Police detective recognized him driving on Cranberry Highway. The detective was aware that Mr. Fraser had no driver’s license, stopped him and placed him custody for operating without a license.

Friday, September 13:

12:50 a.m. – Robert Oliveira, 39, of West Wareham, was arrested by Officer Justin Silveira for an active warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Sandwich Road.

As always, defendants should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
