From the Harwich Fire Department:

A single car crash at the intersection of Depot St and Center St at the Dennis town line sent one person to the hospital by Medflight.

The call was originally reported to Dennis as a house fire and was determined to be in Harwich by first arriving Dennis Police officers.

Both Dennis and Harwich Firefighters worked to extinguish the car fire, and treat and transport the occupant.

The accident is under investigation by Harwich Police and the Regional Crash Team.
