Pool Machinery Fire in Ptown Threatened Surrounding Structures

From the Provincetown Police Department:


A few tense moments this morning when a 911 caller reported thick black smoke emanating from a house in the West End.

Fire crews arrive to find a pool pump and heater fully involved with fire threatening the surrounding structures.

The fire was knocked down quickly and overhaul was completed and units were clear of the scene at 9:24.

Fire Chief Mike Trovato had command at the scene.
