Falmouth Firefighters Respond to Man Struck by Small Excavator

Falmouth Fire/Rescue personnel responded at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday to Manor Lane in Hatchville after a person was reportedly struck by a Bobcat type of excavator. 

The patient was treaded by FFRD personnel at the scene and was then transported to the landing zone at Falmouth Hospital.  The patient was airlifted to a Boston trauma center.

The incident is being investigated by the Falmouth Police Department and OSHA.
