From Falmouth Fire-Rescue (verbatim):

Last night at approx 2130 hrs, FFRD units were dispatched to Gosnold Grove Apartments in East Falmouth for a report of a structure fire.

First arriving Engine 25 encountered a smoke condition on the 3rd floor, with smoke showing from the attic vents.

The crew located a fire around a bathroom ceiling fan on the 3rd floor.

Utilizing portable fire extinguishers while an attack line was being advanced, the crew was able to knock down the visible fire. The area was overhauled, luckily the fire did not extend to the common attic.

There were no injuries, and the fire was accidental.

Thanks to the JBCC and Mashpee Fire Departments for providing station coverage during the incident.
