From the National Weather Service:
A mild day is in store today, despite clouds and mainly afternoon showers. Highs will range from the mid 40s in northwest Massachusetts to the mid 50s in much of Rhode Island and eastern Massachusetts.
How's the weekend looking?
The better of the two days for outdoor activities will be Saturday with plenty of sunshine but cooler temperatures. Low pressure is forecast to track near Nantucket, bringing rain to most of southern New England Saturday night and Sunday. It will be cold enough at the start for a wintry mix of light snow and light freezing rain across western and north central Massachusetts and northwest Connecticut, especially in the hills. A light coating of ice and snow is possible before the wintry mix changes to rain Sunday morning.
A quick peek at our crystal ball shows a dry, cool, and breezy day on Thanksgiving.
