Eastham wants world to know about the "first encounter"...

From our colleagues at Lower Cape TV:

EASTHAM, MA -- In 1620, the so-called "first encounter" between Pilgrims and Native American happened in Eastham. As the 400th anniversary rolls in, the town wants the world to know its role in Pilgrim-history. On December 8, the Eastham 400 Commemoration Committee kicks off a year-long program to take us through the world of the Mayflower, Pilgrims and Native Americans four centuries ago.
