Editor's Note - Saturday morning this storm was forecast as an all rain event for Cape Cod.  Now many parts of the Cape are showing predicted snow of less than one inch.  Forecasts may change as the storm progresses, so please monitor bulletins in case there is an increase in the Cape snowfall forecast.

From the National Weather Service:

Expect a long duration, messy event w/ initial snow changing to a wintry mix & rain Sunday night/Monday, then snow again later Monday into Tuesday morning. Best chance or a mostly snow event is in northern interior areas.

Rain likely, mainly after 5pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 38. North wind 6 to 9 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Tonight
Rain. Low around 36. Windy, with an east wind 14 to 19 mph increasing to 24 to 29 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Monday
Rain. High near 47. Windy, with a northeast wind 23 to 28 mph decreasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday Night
Rain likely. Cloudy, with a low around 38. Northeast wind 9 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Tuesday
Rain likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 42. Northwest wind 16 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
