On Friday, December 13, 2019 Labyrinth Quests Facilitator Dr. Margaret Rappaport will lead an indoor labyrinth meditative walk at 10 a.m. in the library at the Harwich Cultural Center.
Dr. Margaret Rappaport invites us to focus on originality in a brief talk before the meditative walk with music selected by Darlene T. Hagon. Three perspectives on how to recognize originality in ourselves as well as how to appreciate it in others will be offered.
For example, the practice of walking the labyrinth in community is a creative way to share in original ideas that guide us to declare a goal, to connect in extraordinary conversations, and to make time count toward action. In other words, walking together in individual meditation is an original way to share important messages.
These evolve and can be useful in family, community, and career settings. We learn that meditative walking together becomes a way to consider divergent ideas. We make time for innovative thoughts and novel feelings that we can bring to others.
All are welcome to join us to walk. People may sit to observe, as well.
