From the Cape Cod Regional Search and Rescue Team:

Barnstable County Sheriffs Deputy Bernardo and K-9 Nick with members of the CCRLEC Search and Rescue Management Team we’re in Eastham this morning assisting with a search for a missing 75 year old male from Wellfleet. Deputy Bernardo and K-9 Nick, along with Eastham PD were able to locate the subject who had become stuck in a salt marsh. The patient was then transported by Eastham Rescue to Cape Cod Hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

This was a great coordinated response by Wellfleet Police. Eastham Police & Fire/Rescue, State Police, the National Park Service, Barnstable County Tech Rescue, and CCRLEC SAR (including Deputy Bernardo and Nick).
