NWS: Preliminary Snowfall Amounts for Saturday-Sunday Event

Heavier accumulations will be off-Cape...

From the National Weather Service:

Potential is growing for accumulating snow Sat afternoon/evening. Highest totals expected over interior MA & CT. Snow develops Saturday afternoon from West to East, likely changing to wintry mix & then rain along the coast in the evening. Expect the mix/rain-snow line to move northwards across the region during the evening hours.

Precipitation ends late Sat night into early Sun morning. Uncertainty remains on changeover timing, especially in Eastern MA & RI. So stay tuned as we refine the forecast!
