Two Seriously Injured After Jeep Rolls Over, Lands on Roof

Patients transported to South Shore Hospital Trauma Center...

Marstons Mills, MA - Two patients were transported to South Shore Hospital's trauma center after a Jeep collided with another vehicle then rolled over and landed on its roof around 6 p.m. Friday.  Both patients were occupants of the Jeep and suffered serious injuries.  The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The crash closed Route 28 between Route 149 and South County road until the scene was cleared.  Centerville Osterville Marstons Mills firefighters responded.  Initial aid was provided by an off-duty firefighter and a medical transport ambulance.

No further information is available at this time.   Barnstable Police are investigating the crash.
