SO YOU LIKE SHARKS?

The Summer of the Shark begins, and we at Hit and Run History remember how this all started.   A bunch of network camera crews had been hyping the non-events of non-hurricanes so they could spend Thursday through Sunday in Chatham, parked at Lighthouse Beach.

First one weekend in August.  Then the next.  With no hurricane on the horizon, they decided the recurring story of of Great White Sharks in the area was news, and thus -- ANOTHER WEEKEND IN CHATHAM!

We got to the bottom of this.  And we'll have more to say as through the summer.
