It's Coakley and Brown in Falmouth Running Away

Showing that they care and want their voices heard in filling the seat of Sen. Ted Kennedy, more than thirty percent of Falmouth voters went to the polls today, and made their wishes clear.  Overwhelmingly, Democrats chose Attorney General Martha Coakley as their choice as the next U.S. Senator, while Republicans clearly favored State Senator Scott Brown.

With a total of more than 7,200 votes cast, 5,205 voted in the Democratic Primary, and 1,518 made a choice for their favored GOP pol.

Here are the unofficial Falmouth results:

DEMOCRAT

Coakley - 2,379

Capuano - 1,322

Khazei - 946

Pagliuca - 545

REPUBLICAN

Brown - 1,362

Robinson - 141

As they typically do, the Falmouth results largely mirrored the Commonwealth.
