Brown Bests Coakley in Falmouth

Upset Trend in MA Holds in Dem Stronghold

Matching a trend that has swept the Commonwealth, Falmouth voters supported State Sen. Scott Brown over Attorney General Martha Coakley in today's now historic election. 

Brown garnered 8,041 votes to Coakley's 7,133.  Libertarian Joeseph Kennedy managed to get the support of 128 Falmouth voters. 

Coakley manged to best the next U.S. Senator from Massachusetts in two of Falmouth's nine precincts, taking precincts one and two.  Brown swept the rest.

Brown - 8,041

Coakely - 7,133

Kennedy - 128

Blanks - 2

Write-ins - 9

Total Ballots Cast - 15,313
