Hyannis Youth & Community Center: Voting Place for Barnstable Precincts 8, 9 and 13

A message from Barnstable Town Clerk, Linda Hutchenrider:

HYANNIS, MA -- September 6, 2012.  The State Primary Election is today!  All individuals who are registered as a Republican, Democrat, Green-Rainbow or Unenrolled voter may vote in this election. If you are registered in a political designation you may NOT vote...it is for party choices. If you are a Republican you may only receive a Republican ballot - the same goes for Democrat or Green-Rainbow (there are no candidates on that ballot FYI). If you are Unenrolled you have the choice of any of these ballots. It does not enroll you in that party - it is just recorded in your voter history that you took that ballot (no we don't know how you voted on that ballot). Here is a link to the Town Clerk's office for more information!

If you or someone you know has not registered as yet for the Presidential election it is not too late - October 17th is the deadline to register. Here is a link to the Secretary of State's office for more information.
