Follow my Journey

May 15th, I’m scheduled to work with my editor, David Tabatsky of New York, to work on my Book Proposal to get it in tight-shape to present to my agent, Nancy Rosenfeld from AAA Books Unlimited in IL.

In July, Nancy will help me tighten my manuscript for What is and isn’t Working for the Alcoholic and Addict to present to a traditional publisher. It was a hard and painful decision to take the book off the market to rename it, give it a new cover, and a new ISBN number. I’m hoping to get a publisher to get the book on the shelves of bookstores and into educational locations to help substance abusers and their families.

I would like to keep you all updated with the steps from an author experiencing for the first time working with both a professional editor well-known and an agent. All my books were self-published except A Spiritual Renewal which was published by Riverhaven Books and is also off the market. I’m hoping to get a Christian publisher and renamed the book.

I’ve been writing and publishing since 2006 and finally hooked an agent. Someone who believed in my book to have it republish which is a hard task to accomplish. Maybe my steps will help you in the future.
