It was a cloudy but warm morning last friday when the Morning Fox News Team set up on Bass River Beach to show their viewing audience where they visited for their Zip Trip. Proud neighbors and friends join them as they showed their viewers just what Yarmouth had to offer. The second oldest town on Cape Cod has alot to be seen by the weary traveler. Packed within its 17 square mile area its three villages each have their own personalities.
South Yarmouth, West Yarmouth, and Yarmouthport each have a special charm of their own, if one is willing to venture off the beaten path of route 6. Golf, minature golf, go carts, beaches, ponds, kayaks, restaurants of all types, ice cream, bike paths, nature walks, fishing, boat rides, history adventures, gift shops, antiques, gift shops, baseball games and lots of breathtaking scenery await at every turn. Its no wonder that the population triples in the summer.
Thanks to Fox for Zipping Through!!!!

It was a Doggy Easter at the Brewster Ladies's Library today. The children gathered early this morning to watch the dogs model their Easter Hat creations and learn about the duties they perform. They learned about these very special therapy dogs who have special duties. These activities include, but are not limited to, visits to hospitals, special needs centers, schools, and nursing homes. This happens because of a network of caring individuals who are willing to share their special animals in order to bring happiness and cheer to people, young and old alike. And sharing was what is was all about today. As the owners and their wonderfully behaved dogs allowed us to share in their day. The children watched in amazement as each dog showed that they could sniff out the special egg with their hidden treat. And together they shared an Easter Story and made new friends.
Happy Easter to all !!
