Henry J. Pascarelli 84, of No. Falmouth died on July 10, 2015 at the Royal Cotuit with his family by his side. He was the long time and loving companion of Barbara J. McSherry for 34years.
Born in Worcester he was the son of the late John and Rosaria (Mangano) Pascarelli.
Henry graduated from the Electrician’s program at Boy’s Trade School in Worcester.
Henry worked as a service director at Gallo Oldsmobile in Worcester, retiring after 41 years of service.
He was active in the Knights of Columbus Pope John 23rd council rising to council Grand Knight. He was an active sponsor for the Connie Mack Little League in Worcester.
Henry was an amazing cook, he is best known for his fried dough (Henry’s famous Fried Dough).Henry loved music and playing the organ. He was friend to many and loved sharing his time and talents with all those in need.
Henry was a former President of the Wild Harbor Board of Trustees, he was a communicate of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, as well as a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and the Men’s Club. He loved to play Bocce with the Wild Harbor Monday morning Bocce group.
Henry is survived by his family that he cherished and who cherished him. His three children: Robert Pascarelli and his wife Lisa, of Worcester, Gina Smith and her husband Gary of Worcester & Mashpee, Richard A. Pascarelli and his companion Bryan Texeira of Melrose, four grandchildren Melissa Andersen, and her husband, Brian, Alicia Pascarelli, Brian Smith, Gianna Pascarelli, and one great -grandchild Cole Smith, brother Anthony Pascarelli of Richardson, Texas and Rosemarie Teixeira of Worcester and former wife of 24 years Mary Pascarelli who predeceased him. Henry also leaves his companion; Barbara’s children, Matthew, Mark, John and James McSherry and grandchildren, Philip, Thomas, Julia, Peter, Kelly and Patrick McSherry.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 13 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chapman Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Hwy Route 28A. West Falmouth, Ma.A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday July14, at 11:00 am in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Road No. Falmouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation in his memory may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society 481 Quaker Road No. Falmouth, Ma 02556.
