Robert R. Duperey, 57, of East Bridgewater after a courageous battle with brain cancer, died peacefully on July 6. Robert was the loving son of the late Roger and Lois (Williams) Duperey and grew up in Lexington where he was a graduate of Lexington High School, Class of 1976. He then attended Salem State. While on spring break in Bermuda he met the love of his life, Carolyn whom he married on Oct. 9, 1981; the two would settle in East Bridgewater where they raised their girls. Robert was a born salesman who loved his job of selling wholesale electronic components. Robert loved working in the yard, candlepin bowling, golf, traveling with his wife, and being involved with his girl’s athletics, however his biggest passion was spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He was the loving husband of Carolyn (Wheeler) Duperey of East Bridgewater, devoted father of Morgan A. Cavicchi and her husband Paul of East Bridgewater and Kayla M. Sines and her husband Ian of Bellingham. Proud “Pa” of Lucas, Cody, and Benjamin. Brother of Michelle Duperey of Lowell, Audrey McDevitt of Newburyport, and Pamela Khalife of Billerica. Beloved "son" in law of Howard and Ruth Wheeler of East Bridgewater. He will be missed by many relatives and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon. July 13th at St. John’s Church, 210 Central St. East Bridgewater at 10:30am. Burial will be held privately. Please respect Robert’s wishes and in lieu of flowers he requested everyone spend more time with their family.
