Cape Quakers to host Iraqi Leader on Cape Cod May 3rd
"Beyond Dictatorship and Occupation: A Way Forward in Iraq"
A presentation on the current situation in Iraq from an Iraqi perspective will be open to the public next Wednesday, May 3rd at the Quaker Meetinghouse on Main Street in Yarmouth.
The evening will offer information on the work of Iraqi civil society organizations attempting to overcome sectarian violence and military occupation and to build an Iraqi-led, peaceful future for Iraq

Who: Samil Adil is a co-founder and Secretary General of the Iraqi Freedom Congress, a secular Iraqi civil society organization dedicated to building harmony among all Iraqis regardless of religious or ethnic identity, and to nonviolent opposition to the US occupation of Iraq.
When: 7:00pm, Wednesday, May 3
Where: South Yarmouth Quaker Meetinghouse, 58 North Main Street, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
Wants to get rid of US, Al-Zarqawi et al
Samil Adil has been quoted saying about his organization, "IFC is a mass organization which intends to bring the Iraqi people together with the support of the international solidarity to boot out the US troops, end the occupation and end the oppression of the terrorist groups of Zarqawi and the others."
"We need the support of every human who desire a better world, a human who does not want the repetition of 9/11 in the United States and July 7th in England. What happens in Iraq is just a carry on of those incidents."
Free and open to the public; donations to support this project are welcome.
