CCMNH Mudflat Mania Training Course Slated for May
Training to begin in May for popular kid's class
The Mudflat Mania Training Course will be given at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History on Thursday, May 10, Thursday, May 17 and Thursday May 24 from 9:30am-12pm noon.
Join friends and volunteers in leadership training for this popular and fun family program. You say you can’t tell the difference between a sea cucumber and a worm? Not to worry–- you soon will.
Claudia Kren, long-time volunteer and former professor in the history of science, will conduct the training sessions of this ever-popular course. Come and learn all there is to know about the Cape mudflats from an expert on invertebrates.
There is no charge for those who take the three sessions and who commit to guiding Museum Mudflat Mania programs. Others: 3 sessions $30; or each session $12.
About Mudflat Mania
Mudflat Mania is one of the most popular programs at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History featuring beachside exploration. The museum offers summer guided expeditions to the mudflats at the end of the John Wing Trail, where you'll discover a fascinating world of creatures. Bring a pail, water shoes and a notebook and delve into the amazing world of mudflat life.

The Museum is located at 869 Route 6A in Brewster and offers a variety of interesting exhibits, an aquarium and programs, lecture and workshops for adults and children. Take a naturalist-guided or self-guided tour on the Museum's many acres of wildflower, woodlands and salt marsh trails.
