Lower Cape Babe Ruth All-Stars Take Barnstable Tournament

In a baseball tournament hosted in Barnstable at the Mets and Horace Mann school fields over the weekend of July 25-28, the Lower Cape Babe Ruth All-Stars took the trophies and final win in a 6-2 game vs. the previoulsy undefeated Barnstable Braves.  The MVP award was given to Alex Powers for his fine pitching, and David Coy did a notable job as the closer.  Jake Malone also provided pitching support to bring the team into the final game.
