Annual Cape Abilities 5K Walk/Run set for May 19 in Hyannis

The Cape Abilities 5K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, May 19, at Hyannis Village Green. The flat, wheel-measured course features gorgeous water views, making it a pleasure for runners and walkers alike. The event begins at 9:15 a.m., with registration starting at 8 a.m.

Sign up to run or walk; walkers may register on their own or as teams. It’s not too early to begin training and, if you choose, start raising money for a good cause. All monies raised help support Cape Abilities, a nonprofit organization that provides jobs, homes, transportation and support for people with disabilities across Cape Cod.

Register at www.CapeAbilities.org. Registration is $25 online through May 16, or $30 on race day. The first 400 registrants will receive T-shirts.

For more information, go to www.CapeAbilities.org or call 508-778-5040.
