After conducting an exhaustive search, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod announced the addition of Christine Mascott of Mashpee to their team as Program Coordinator.

Most recently, Ms. Mascott was the Managing Director of the Cape Cod Theater Project, an organization whose mission is to impact American Theater by developing new American plays, bringing audiences into the development process, and administering an intern program to encourage a new generation of theater devotees. She also managed Falmouth's ArtsAlive, a three-day annual festival each June that celebrates the Cape's artistic community.  The festival presents over 60 performances on 3 stages representing all the performing arts including theater, dance, spoken word and music of all genres.

Prior to her work on the Cape, Ms. Mascott's  management experience included Company Managing the Martha Graham Dance Company and other international theatrical touring productions.

"We are delighted to bring Christine on board. With her great experience in event management and her roots within Cape Cod's arts community, I am certain that she will be an effective addition to our team", according to Kevin Howard, Executive Director of the AFCC.

In addition to her management experience, Christine is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and the lead singer for the band "Groovy Afternoon."
