This week, the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod kicked off their 2nd annual Stuff a Stocking. Now through December 19, people are encouraged to drop off toys and much needed supplies to stuff oversized stockings in each of the banks branches.
Stuff a Stocking benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod.
The local kids organization fills an important need for many families on the Cape, according to Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod President Joel Crowell, "We’re fortunate to have the club as a resource and want to support them, especially during these hard economic times. Such items are used by the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod as in incentive to involve local children in positive programs, according to Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod Ruth Provost.
In addition to unwrapped gifts for the stockings at each branch, check and cash donations may be given to the tellers at any branch.
