Truro looks to fill Planning Board vacancy

Appointment would be until the annual town election next year

The Town of Truro is looking to fill an opening on the planning board. The appointment will be made at a joint meeting of the Truro Board of Selectmen and the Town Planning Board. 

The appointment would be until the 2016 annual town election.

The planning board generally meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month. Lisa Maria Tobia is the current chair of the board, according to the town's website.

Residents interested in the position must fill out an application to serve on an appointed multi-member body and file it with the administration office. That form is available here.

If the person appointed to fill the vacancy wishes to remain on the board, he/she will need to run for election to the board durinng the 2016 annual town election.
