Garden plots available in Harwich for 2016 season

Raised beds available for elderly or disabled gardeners

The Town of Harwich announced earlier this month that garden plots are available for the 2016 season. There are plenty of 22' x 22' plots available for the year, according to a town release.

The town will till and provide water for the gardens. Compost will also be brought to the site for use in the gardens.

The 22' x 22' plots are available for $40 for the season. Smaller plots with raised beds are available for elderly or disabled gardeners. The cost per raised bed plot is $15 for the season.

The Harwich Community Gardens are on Sisson Road. To learn more about gardening at the community site, see the regulations here.

To sign up, visit the Conservation Department on the second floor of the Harwich Town Hall during regular business hours or call 508-430-7538 for information.
